She blends energy healing, counseling, constellation facilitation, and guided imagery divination into her private practice with individuals and couples. Together with her husband Peter, Jamy has created The Constellation Approach—seminars and learning programs combining the modalities of family constellation work, energy medicine, and the awakening of consciousness.
Q. What is the greatest challenge facing society?
A: People thinking they are right. Rightness makes it difficult to see other viewpoints, which can cause conflict and war. I encourage individuals to step into other people’s shoes and see the world through their eyes. This experience shifts them out of needing to be right to recognizing we are all one.
Q. What books or resources have helped you the most? Why?
A: I recommend The Second Half of Life: Opening the Eight Gates of Wisdom, by Angeles Arrien. The guidance she offers is helpful to people in midlife. I also like poetry such as Rainer Maria Rilke’s poems in The Book of Hours, translated by Anita Barrows and Joanna Macy and The Gift, by Hafiz. Poetry takes us out of our daily routine into a more expansive mind. For example, Rilke writes, “. . . You, sent out beyond your recall, go to the limits of your longing. Embody me. / Flare up like flame and make big shadows I can move in. / Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror. Just keep going. No feeling is final . . .”
I live life with an open heart, burning brightly and holding nothing back. When my life is over, I will smolder into ashes.
Q. Anything else?
A: In recent meditations, I’ve seen the soul agreements I made for this life and recall being at a council of souls, seeing my parents’ energy and agreeing to be their daughter, and they, in turn, agreeing to be my parents. This is one small illustration of the consciousness expansion that is moving me now. As I expand, I begin to accept everything, realizing I have agreed to it all. This acceptance gives me great peace as I let go of struggle and open my heart wide.
